Absolutely underrated and a fantastic song. And man do I love Christine McVie; what a beautiful voice.
I will say, my favorite FM song, also heavy on McVie, is “Little Lies”, which is also on the same 1987 album Tango in the Night as the song “Everywhere” . That opening synthesizer practically gives me chills every time.

The hook at the beginning never fails to get me dancing in my seat.
In general a ll of McVie’s tracks are underrated. Nick s had a better voice and got all the attention but Christine had more vocal talent. Songbird can bring me to tears if I’m in the right mood .

I would not personally call the hook the best part, but the harmonies in it are incredible.

I much prefer McVie’s voice to Nicks’s.

I wouldn’t call it underrated, but I spent the better part of two decades with a huge FM fan , so they all got equal play.
Well, except Rhiannon, that one definitely got more ear time than the rest.
I feel like I’m So Afraid is a forgotten gem. So guttural, visceral. Love it.

My favorite and certainly would qualify as unknown or under rated
and if you like McVie, from the same album
Listening to this on the soft “glowy” sound of an old tabletop tube radio as I went to sleep at night, simply magical.
I like the newer stuff as well, and yeah, some of their 80s hits, kind of written off as fluff at the time, have aged pretty well.

I never ‘got into’ Fleetwood Mac because I dislike Stevie Nicks singing heard on radios here-and-there. B ut “Hold Me” was the first music video that I ever saw, and I love that piece of music!

Those almost have an erie sound to them, but in a good way.
